iSeerix today announced the general availability of iSeerix® Release Manager Release 1.0 (IRM), the release management tool that helps customers manage the lifecycle of their data warehouse projects. This latest release introduces significant integration with Oracle® Warehouse Builder to automatically build and deploy code between environments.  In addition IRM supports SQL scripts, FTP, SFTP and SSH.  This added flexibility allows customers to include content for other Oracle Business Intelligence products such as OBIEE or any other file based technology using FTP and SFTP.  

iSeerix today also introduced pricing and packaging for iSeerix Release Manager. For a promotional period iSeerix Release Manager will be made available to customers free of charge. (Terms, conditions, and restrictions apply.)iSeerix Release Manager (IRM) provides a robust, intuitive, graphical interface enabling the user to identify, sequence and deploy code between different physical environments.  

IRM allows you to register your different environments in a secure centralized location (eg. Development, Test, Production etc.)  Once an environment is registered, IRM enables you to identify code within the different Oracle Warehouse Builder environments and select each component to be part of the release.  

In addition to the Oracle Warehouse Builder components, iSeerix Release Manager allows you to include custom SQL scripts to be executed at the time of deployment. IRM integrates seamlessly with Oracle Warehouse Builder and reads the metadata, allowing you to extract code from the source environment, and import and deploy the code into the target environment.  

IRM enables the migration of code between environments in an automated, simple, auditable, and repeatable process, without any complex script writing or manual procedures. With the ability to incorporate custom SQL scripts (grants, default data, specific users etc) iSeerix Release Manager will automatically execute custom SQL scripts in the order in which you have determined. This allows you to manage the complete release, not just the components kept within Oracle Warehouse Builder.
